Jordan Islamic Bank held a reception under the patronage of the CEO/General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank, Dr. Hussein Said, on the occasion of the transfer of its branch in Ramtha/Ramtha District, Irbid Governorate to a new location on the main line of Al-Sham Road, and the opening of a new banking office in the same location as the old branch in the commercial market in Ramtha - downtown, in confirmation of the bank’s keenness to meet the needs of its customers for banking and financing services in compliance with the provisions and principles of Islamic Sharia, so that the bank will have 111 branches and offices spread throughout the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, on the seventh of the current month of August. The ceremony witnessed a large presence and a wide welcome from deputies and officials in the commercial and industrial sectors, sheikhs, dignitaries, and people of Ramtha District and Irbid Governorate. They expressed their thanks and appreciation to the bank’s management for its response to their demands to choose a wider site to deal with the increasing pressure on the bank’s branch and the opening of a new office, in addition to the administration’s constant keenness to provide everything new in the field of Islamic banking while keeping pace with the latest modern technological developments. Dr. Hussein Said said that we are pleased to expand the geographical network of our bank in the Ramtha district, which took the lead in having the first branch of our bank in it on 3/1/1995, to be transferred today to a new building owned by the bank, characterized by a modern design, compatible with the identity of the bank, equipped with the latest systems and technologies, and equipped with highly qualified banking cadres. Providing convenient parking for the bank’s clients, in addition to opening a new office in the same old location of the Ramtha branch, so that our bank’s share within the governorate of Irbid and Ramtha District becomes sixteen branches and offices located in (Baghdad Street, Al-Hashemi Street, Palestine Street, Aydon Street, Hakama Street, Al-Hosn Street, City Center, Bani Kinana, Deir Abi Saeed, North Shouneh, Ramtha, Taybeh, Al-Shajara, Al-Tura, Al-Mazar Al-Shamali, Al Ramtha office), emphasizing the importance of the Ramtha district, which is one of the vital areas characterized by rapid growth in commercial activity and high population density, Dr. Hussein Said stated that this step comes in line with the bank’s strategy to provide support to all its customers wherever they are and in their various commercial and industrial sectors, individuals and small, medium and large companies, and to provide them with various banking services and products with high efficiency and to meet their needs, stressing the continuity of the bank’s pursuit of further geographical expansion by opening New branches and offices, converting offices to branches, or transferring branches to buildings owned by the bank to enhance its assets, meet the needs of its customers, attract new customers, increase the bank’s share in the banking market and maintain the strength of its financial position, in addition to enhancing digital banking services through the bank’s digital electronic channels (Islami Mobile, Islamic internet, Islamic ATM, etc.).
