Global FinanceMagazine (New York) that is specialized in the field of banks and financial institutions has named Jordan Islamic Bank (JIB) best Islamic financial institution in Jordan for 2017 for the ninth consecutive year within the announcement of the annual awards the magazine grants for the world’s best Islamic financial institutions.
The continuation to grant Jordan Islamic Bank awards from Global Finance is out of the bank’s distinguished achievements including continued growth in the future , clear contribution to the growth of Islamic financing and the success in meeting its customers’ needs by providing products compliant with provisions and principles of Islamic Sharia, and according to many criteria: growth in assets, profitability, geographic reach, strategic relationships, new business development, innovation in products, reputation, customer satisfaction afterintensive consultations with bankers, corporate finance executives and analysts throughout the world and opinions of analysts and others involved in the industry.
On this occasion, Mr. Musa Shihadeh , CEO- General Manager of JIB referred to the bank’s ability to keep getting accomplishments which meet the strategic horizons and assert its distinguished status among Islamic financial institutions for it consolidated the role of Islamic banking by providing financing services that meet the needs of clients and achieve economic growth and social prosperity and win the interest of the world institutions and magazines which shed light on the successful and pioneer institutions in their countries.
Concerning the awards, Mr. Joseph D. Giarraputo, Global Finance publisher and editorial director said ” Islamic finance continues to show robust growth, expanding into new markets and new products,”. “This year’s winners of our awards for the Best Islamic Financial Institutions win client loyalty and praise by their sensitivity to the needs of Sharia-compliant customers.”
The magazine’s press release included the names of best Islamic financial institutions at the country level for 2017, where three units of Albaraka banking group in addition to Jordan Islamic bank received awards from this magazine including ( Albaraka Algeria, Albaraka Bank Bahrain and Albaraka bank south Africa) in addition to name Albaraka banking group best Islamic financial institution in the Middle East and North Africa at the regional level for 2017.
The awards will be distributed in a ceremony which will be conducted during IMF/ World Bank annual meetings in Washington DC during coming October , in the presence of officers and international and Arab banking leaders.
