JIB Continues to honor Memorizers of Holy Quran at Yarmouk University

Jordan Islamic Bank (JIB) continued to honor winners students in the competition of Holy Quran memorization organized by Yarmouk University / Deanship of Students Affairs in cooperation with Faculty of Sharia by distributing cash prizes to students during the celebration which was held under the patronage of Dr. Mohammad Al-Omari , Dean of Sharia Faculty on Sunday 7/5/2017. The bank’s support and sponsorship of the competition which is held annually is an assertion of JIB’s role in assuming social responsibilities and its special interest in the memorizers of holy Quran through supporting , honoring or providing prizes to holy Quran memorization competitions organized by various official institutions, associations , local community institutions , schools or universities. However, during the first quarter of this year, the bank provided the sponsorship for competitions of holy Quran memorization organized by the University of Jordan / Faculty of Sharia and the Hashemite International Competition  for Memorization and Recital of Holy Quran in its twelfth session for females organized by the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs in addition to the continuation to support further competitions that will be held during this year. Dr. Mohammad Al-Omari and Dr. Ahmed Alshayab, the Dean of Students Affairs expressed their thanks and gratitude to the bank’s continuation to sponsor the competitions of holy Quran  memorization for students of Yarmouk University annually , appreciating the bank’s interest  in supporting these activities that the university holds.
