JIB is the Best Islamic Financial Institution in Jordan for 2019

  Global Finance Magazine (New York) that is specialized in the field of banks and financial institutions has named Jordan Islamic Bank (JIB) best Islamic financial institution in Jordan for 2019 for the eleventh year in a row within the announcement of the annual awards the magazine grants for the world’s best Islamic financial institutions that contributed to the growth of Islamic financing and successfully met their customers’ needs for Sharia- compliant products. According to the report issued by Global Finance magazine, the continuation to grant Jordan Islamic Bank awards is out of the bank’s obtaining the standards needed to select the successful institutions including continued growth in assets, contribution to the growth of Islamic financing, profitability, geographic reach, strategic relationships, new business development, innovation in products, reputation, customer satisfaction and the success in meeting their needs. Concerning the awards, Mr. Joseph D. Giarraputo, Global Finance publisher and editorial director said” Islamic finance has grown remarkably, becoming $2.5 trillion industry nearly nothing a few decades ago. Our annual awards for the best Islamic financial institutions help institutional readers identify the Islamic banks that have the capacity to meet their sophisticated needs.” For his part, Mr. Musa Shihadeh, General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank, commended the efforts made to continue improving the Bank's performance and implementing its strategy aimed at achieving more accomplishments at various levels. He appreciated the interest of the global magazines like, Global Finance, in the successful global financial institutions through its diligent follow-up of our achievements and its continuation to grant our bank the award of best Islamic financial institution. The report also included the names of the best Islamic financial institutions for 2019, where AL Baraka Banking Group received the award of the best Islamic financial institution at the regional level – South Africa, Al Baraka Lebanon as the best Islamic financial institution in Lebanon and AL Baraka Algeria as the best Islamic financial institution in Algeria.  However, the winners will be honored at a special awards ceremony at the IMF and World Bank meetings in Washington on October 19, 2019.
