JIB is the first bank launching a cash withdrawal service from ATM using QR code

Jordan Islamic Bank announced the launch of the cash withdrawal service from the ATM using QR code through the bank’s application (Islami Mobile) and without the need to use ATM cards, to be the first bank in launching this service, in order to enhance the series of immediate electronic services that the bank provides to its customers to meet their needs and in line with their practical lifestyle, and in accordance with the latest advanced banking systems and applications that are compatible with the provisions and principles of Islamic Sharia and the requirements and standards of security and protection, in cooperation with Baianat Company. Dr. Hussein Said, CEO/General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank, said, " The provision of our bank for this service is the first of its kind in Jordan using a QR code on ATMs to be followed in the future by more services such as(authenticating checks, requesting an account statement and other services), in line with the instructions of the Central Bank of Jordan and the procedures followed by our bank in implementing strategic information technology projects in the transformation and expansion of digital services and keeping abreast of recent developments aimed at protecting and facilitating the transactions of our bank’s customers and accelerating them, which reduces the financial and procedural costs related to the service and ensure its security and from any form of fraud, and provides an advantage to our customers to conduct cash exchange operations without using banking cards. Dr. Hussein Said indicated that this modern service is available to our bank’s customers who have active accounts on Islami Mobile application, and it enables them to make a cash withdrawal from their account with our bank through any of our ATMs using a QR code, whereby our bank’s customers can enter to their accounts via Islami Mobile application, and choose the cardless withdrawal service from the list, then choose a quick withdrawal via QR ATM and then specify the amount and go to the nearest ATM to our bank and then photograph the QR code that appears on the screen and receives the amount to be withdrawn from the device directly, inviting the bank's customers to take advantage of this service, which provides time, confidence and security in cash exchange operations.
