JIB is a primary Sponsor of the Ceremony “ Holy Quran is My Life”

Under the patronage of Mr. Musa Shihadeh , CEO , General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank (JIB) , the Conservation of the Holy Quran Society held the charity dinner “ Holy Quran is My Life” to support the programs and activities of the quranic Society and its meaningful programs and projects with a participation of elites of scholars including Dr. Mohammad Rateb Alnabelsi, Dr. Mohammad Alawadi , Dr. Abdelrahman Kilani, Dr. Burhan Nimr and the chanter Yahia Hawa at Jabri restaurant on 19 /3/2017.  Mr. Shihadeh said the continuation to support the Conservation of the Holy Quran Society , sponsoring the annual charity ceremony and donating thirty thousand dinars  in shareholders’ names  with the intention of accompanying the prophet Mohammad is within the bank’s central interest in the Society and a basic part of the bank’s assuming its social responsibilities , where the total donations the bank provided to support the associations and competitions of Holy Quran memorization since its incorporation till the end of 2016 amounted to about JD 776 thousand including JD 454 thousand for the international Hashemite Competition of memorization and recital of Holy Quran organized annually by the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs and JD 322 thousand to support associations and competitions of Holy Quran memorization including the Conservation of the Holy Quran Society. Dr. Mohammad AlMajali, Chairman of the Conservation of the Holy Quran Society commended the distinguished role of JIB in supporting the Society and keeping abreast of its progress and expansion where it has 1100 subsidiary quranic centers in Jordan which include more than 120000 students and the number of memorizers of the Holy Quran amounted to five thousand in addition to many quranic programs and competitions that JIB had the favor for their success. Moreover, Dr. AlMajali handed Mr. Shihadeh an honorable gift in appreciation of sponsoring  the ceremony and JIB’s constant support to the activities of the conservation of the Holy Quran society in addition to handing honorable shields to the supporters participating in the ceremony which included a data show of the Society’s activities , models for Quran memorizers and introducing the youngest and oldest memorizers of Holy Quran.
