Jordan Islamic Bank (JIB) continued to provide cash prizes for winners in the International Hashemite Competition for Memorization and Recital of Holy Quran in its 25th session for males and 12th session for females organized annually by Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs during the final ceremony of the competition which was held under the patronage of HRH Prince Faisal Bin AlHussein on 27 Ramadan at Greatest Conferences Hall / Islamic cultural Centre to honor the winners and jury of the competition with the presence of participants from different Arab and Islamic countries , officials , preachers and scholars.
Mr. Musa Shihadeh , CEO –General Manager of JIB said or annual support of Holy Quran memorization competitions organized in Jordan by providing cash prizes for winners is an assertion of the bank’s assuming its social responsibilities and its special attention in the conservation of Holy Quran including the International Hashemite Competition for Memorization and Recital of Holy Quran for males annually which held during Ramadan month in addition to the competition which is dedicated for females which was held in Rajab month. However, providing the prizes for winners in this completion has become one of the prominent social activities adopted by the bank during Ramadan month annually and for about 25 years. The total donations provided by the bank as prizes for winners in the Hashemite Competition since its incorporation amounted to about JD 494 thousand including forty thousand dinars as prizes to be distributed to females and males participating in the completion for 2017.
