JIB is a Golden Sponsor of Combating Financial Crimes Forum

Jordan Islamic Bank (JIB) provided its gold sponsorship for the Union of Arab Banks (UAB) forum on Combating Financial Crimes: Compliance with Evolving Global AML/ CFT Standards. The forum was held under the auspices of the Governor of the Central Bank of Jordan and with the participation of a large number of bankers and experts of combating money laundering and terrorist financing from the Arab region, during the period 29-30 / 1/2019 at the Intercontinental Hotel. On this occasion, Mr. Musa Shihadeh, General Manager of JIB said, “We appreciate the efforts of the Union of Arab Banks to improve the performance of Arab banks by following up the most important developments and challenges on various levels facing the Arab banking sector such as compliance with evolving global AML/ CFT Standards. Therefore, the bank's sponsorship of this forum is out of assuming its social responsibilities by providing support to various events from local and foreign conferences and seminars that support the business of Arab and Islamic banks and to ensure continuity of support for the activities of the Union of Arab Banks and its forums and conferences” Mr. Wissam Fattouh, Secretary General of the Union of Arab Banks expressed his thanks and appreciation to JIB for its continued support and participation in the various activities of the Union of Arab Banks.
