JIB is the Golden Sponsor of SIGRI Regional Conference

Jordan Islamic Bank ( JIB ) presented the golden sponsorship of SIGRI regional conference entitled "Challenges and impediments to the future of electric power systems" under the patronage of the Prime Minister's Representative Dr. Saleh Al-Kharabsheh, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources organized by the Jordanian national committee, which is formed of  the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources ,The Electricity Sector Regulatory Commission, electricity companies in Jordan, some local and international companies and official universities, which emanated from the International Conference on Large-Voltage Electric Power Systems in Paris,  and with wide participation of various Arab countries and a number of experts and interested from Arab and foreign countries to present their experiences in this area and exchange experiences and enhance cooperation between them and discuss the challenges in light of the increasing role of new and renewable energy in the system of electric power generation and as a result of Jordan and the world’s great interest to preserve the sources of traditional energies for the sustainability and preservation of the environment At the Le- Meridian Hotel during the period 24-25 / 4/2018. Mr. Musa Shihadeh, General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank, said that the continuation of our bank's sponsorship of SIGRE conference, which was held in Amman in 2016, is an enhancement to our Bank's social responsibilities and its keenness to be present in various activities aimed at preserving the environment and supporting sustainable development through the preservation of renewable energy sources to generate electricity, which will benefit the community and the economy, expressing his pride in the sustainable partnership between Jordan Islamic Bank and the National Electric Power Company, which seeks to serve the national economy and the community. The Chairman of the Jordanian National Commission (SIRGI), General Manager of the National Electricity Company, Eng. Abdul Fattah Al-Daradkeh, praised the prominent role of Jordan Islamic Bank in supporting activities supporting the national economy including the continuation of the support of the regional conference, which receives local and regional attention. The Minister of Energy presented a special shield to the Bank in recognition of JIB’s support and sponsorship of the conference, which was received by the Assistant Manager General of the Bank, Dr. Musa Mubarak.
