Jordan Islamic Bank is a golden sponsor for the Fourth Silk Road Conference "Entrepreneurship"

JIB participated in supporting the Fourth Silk Road Conference entitled "Entrepreneurship in Business" by providing the golden sponsorship of the conference which organized by the Palestinian-Jordanian Business Forum and the Jordanian Care and Innovation Association and in cooperation with the European Enterprise Development Initiative (JADE) project funded by the European Union and under the patronage of His Highness delegate Royal Hussein bin Abdullah, Crown Prince, His Excellency Dr. Tariq Al-Hammouri, Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, with the participation of 500 businessmen from inside and outside Jordan, at the St. Regis Hotel on 7/12/2019. Dr. Hussein Said, General manager of JIB delivered a welcome speech during a dinner party to receive delegates participating from outside Jordan in the conference on Friday 6/12/2019 at the St. Regis Hotel, stressing that the continuity of sponsorship and presence of JIB in the Silk Road conferences since Its first edition in 2014 to the fourth edition 2019 is a practical application for real partnership between businessmen and banking sector institutions that aimed at supporting the economic and development process and to enhance the sustainable relationship between the bank and the Palestinian-Jordanian business forum and its conferences, which emphasizes the importance of holding these conferences in Jordan, which has a distinctive status and an attractive oasis for investment among businessmen societies, reviewing Jordan's experience in Islamic banking through what has been achieved by JIB, which is the first Islamic bank In Jordan from achievements that contributed to the consolidation of the rules of Islamic banking and support the Jordanian national economy, praising the tireless efforts to hold the Fourth Silk Road Conference Which focuses on leadership and creativity in business and its importance by providing an opportunity to meet and discuss between business owners and entrepreneurs to exchange experiences and benefit from practical experiences to develop existing business and establish entrepreneurial business capable of keeping pace with developments and changes and are able to compete locally and globally, stressing the role of JIB by assuming its social responsibilities towards the various economic and social sectors through the continuity of sponsoring the various meetings that contribute to moving the wheel of the economy and its growth and supporting entrepreneurial projects and enabling them to develop their business. Engineer Nazmi Atama, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Palestinian-Jordanian Business Forum, presented an honorary shield to Dr. Hussein Said in appreciation of the bank's sponsorship of this conference and expressed his thanks for the continued sponsorship and support of the bank to the Palestinian-Jordanian Business Forum. In addition, the bank set up a special wing within the activities of the forum, in which it distributed many informational bulletins and sharia fatwas to the participants to introduce the services and products of Jordan Islamic Bank in compliance with the provisions and principles of Islamic Sharia.
