Jordan Islamic Bank is the exclusive sponsor for the ISustain Competition Awards 2019

JIB has provided support through its exclusive sponsorship for the cash prizes awarded to the winners of the ISustain Competition 2019, which is Organized by the Green Building Unit at the Engineering Business Forum with the participation of Jordanian universities from the students of the faculties of Engineering for Sustainable Green Design, were awarded cash prizes from the Bank for the winning projects. Dr. Hussein Said, Chief Executive Officer / General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank affirmed the bank's keenness to be present in different meetings and activities that aims to implement the Bank's strategic sustainability plan in protecting the environment and reducing the negative impact on it. This Competition is an opportunity to emphasize the role of JIB in social responsibility and sustainability and in supporting the environment, Promoting design practices and methods for sustainable green building and public-private-academic partnership to encourage innovation and development and improve the base of awareness of green design and sustainability among students and professors and those interested in this field. Eng. Anas Sinno, Chairman of the Engineering Business Forum, thanked the jib for its donation and support for the ISustain Competition for 2019. And to continued support and cooperation to strengthen the partnership with the private sector and various institutions of the homeland, and to make the best use of Jordan's environmental resources. Eng. Anas Sinno and Eng. Meisa Batayneh, Head of the Green Building Unit at the Engineering Business Forum, thanked jib and handed to the bank's representative a certificate of appreciation for sponsored the ISustain Competition Awards 2019, during a special ceremony held at the Jordan Museum on 9/11/2019.
