Jordan Islamic Bank provided support as a strategic partner for the activities of the third Gulf-Jordanian Economic Forum under the title “New Aspects for Economic and Investment Cooperation"., where the President of the Federation of Gulf Cooperation Council Chambers, Mr. Ajlan bin Abdulaziz Al-Ajlan and the Chairman of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC), Mr. Nael Al-Kabariti, presented an honorary shield to Dr. Hussein Said, CEO/General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank, in appreciation of the bank’s support for the forum, Which was inaugurated by the representative of the Prime Minister, Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, His Excellency Mr. Yousef Al-Shamali, and it was organized by the Jordan Chamber of Commerce and in cooperation with the Federation of Gulf Cooperation Council Chambers and with the support of the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, With the wide participation of business leaders, investors, departments of chambers of commerce from the countries of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf and Gulf economic authorities, on 27 September, 2022 at the St. Regis Hotel / Amman Dr. Hussein Said stated that based on Jordan Islamic Bank’s shouldering of its social responsibilities in supporting the national economy and sustainable development, our bank’s participation in supporting this forum in its third edition comes as a continuation of the previous sponsorships it presented to the forum in its first and second editions, which aims to support and develop Gulf and Jordanian economic and commercial relations and to form a solid base to support joint Jordanian and Arab investment, as it is an affirmation of the strength and depth of the relations that link Jordan with the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the distinguished position that Jordan enjoys, stressing the bank's keenness to be present in various meetings that contribute to supporting and growing the national economy and encouraging investment. For his part, Mr. Nael Kabariti expressed his thanks and appreciation to Jordan Islamic Bank, the effective strategic partner in contributing to support the activities of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce and the Gulf - Jordanian Economic Communication Forum, along with other supportive partners who are keen to hold and succeed this forum on a regular basis to contribute to the development of the work process and the joint Arab economic integration. The two-day forum aims to hold working sessions to discuss prospects for the future economic partnership and investment opportunities available between the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and to present feasibility studies for investment projects for entrepreneurs in Jordan, in promising sectors such as transportation, logistics, tourism, medical tourism, the financial and banking sector, information technology and security.
