Jordan Islamic Bank and Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans announced the renewal of the cooperation agreement between them for the sixteenth year consecutively, which aims to support ten students from Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans and help them complete their educational march through the bank covering the costs of their university studies and the capacity building program, which extends to four years (2023-2026), with the aim of supporting the bank for Al-Aman Fund students and facilitating their journey of learning, self-development and self-reliance, according to the standards approved by Al-Aman Fund. The agreement was signed on behalf of Jordan Islamic Bank, CEO / General Manager, Dr. Hussein Said, and on behalf of Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans, General Manager, Ms. Nour Al-Hamoud, at the Head office of the Bank on 17/11/ 2022. Dr. Hussein Said expressed his happiness in the bank’s continued support for Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans, one of the initiatives of the Queen Rania Foundation for Education and Development, as a commitment from the bank in assuming its social and sustainable responsibilities, which is one of its most prominent annual activities in the field of supporting the educational sector and the less fortunate groups of society, especially the orphan category. Those who do not have a breadwinner and those who graduated from social welfare institutions after the age of eighteen and sponsored them financially to complete their university studies and reach the stage of self-reliance, as this agreement comes as a continuation of the sustainable partnership between the Bank and the Al-Aman Fund, since 2008. For her part, Ms. Nour Al-Hamoud praised the continuity of Jordan Islamic Bank's support for the fund, which is one of the most important supporters of the fund during the past years, which is an affirmation of the importance of strategic cooperation between the private sector and local community institutions and contributing to achieving a better future for orphaned youth and supporting them to receive their university education in various specializations and distributed among all governorates of the Kingdom to become active and productive individuals in society.
