JIB and Agricultural Engineers Association Renew a Cooperation Agreement

Jordan Islamic Bank and Jordanian Agricultural Engineers Association signed a joint cooperation agreement in renewal of the previous agreements that started since 2007, to continue the bank to provide financing and banking services to union members for the purposes of owning housing and land or buying cars, furniture or electrical appliances and other goals at preferential rates and terms and in accordance with the provisions and principles Islamic sharia. The agreement was signed on behalf of the bank by Dr. Hussein Said, Chief Executive Officer / General Manager and on behalf of the Syndicate of Agricultural Engineer Abdel Hadi Al-Falahat, the President of the Agricultural Engineers Syndicate in the presence of Assistant General Manager of the Bank and the Executive Management and the Deputy Syndicate of Agricultural Engineers Eng. Nihad Al-Alimi and the Director of the Retirement Fund Assistant General Secretary of the Syndicate Dr. Ahmed Amr and members of the Syndicate at the building of the General Administration of the Bank on 5/3/2020. Dr. Hussein said that the renewal of this agreement comes as a continuation of previous agreements with the Agricultural Engineers Syndicate, and to emphasize the role of our bank in assuming its social responsibilities and strengthening its role in supporting the national economy with the opportunity for members of the Agricultural Engineers Syndicate to benefit from the developments that provided by the bank, whether it is financing or Investment or digital banking services, in addition to consolidating the sustainable relationship with the various civil society institutions that adhere to our bank with memoranda of understanding to benefit from the bank's services at preferential prices and terms, including the Agricultural Engineers Association that It does its best to serve its employees. For his part, Engineer Abdul Hadi Al-Falahat praised the continuity of enhancing joint cooperation with JIB, the pioneer of Islamic banking, and the renewal of this agreement, and invite all members of the union to take advantage of the financing and investment advantages provided by the bank for them, stressing the union's keenness to continuously strive to support its employees and meet their needs. The agreement includes the bank’s provision of funds to employees of the Agricultural Engineers Syndicate according to the , Ijara Muntahia Bittamleek for the purchase of (housing and land), the murabaha sale of the order to purchase (for the purchase of furniture, electrical appliances, cars, apartments, houses, building materials, land, etc.), and Musawamah sale (for the purchase of furniture, electrical and mobile devices, computers, and financing in the form of Ijara Mawsufa Fi Al-Dhimmah (a Labbayk product for Hajj and Umrah, an Iqra product for education, a Shifa product for treatment and a tourism product) and Istisna sale (for construction), Granting union members Al Qard AL Hassan for marriage, education, and medical treatment in cooperation with the union, in addition to involving the applicant for financing in the mutual insurance fund, various electronic services, mobile banking (I-Banking), and efawateercom, also short message service (SMS) and the issuance of bank cards and it's all kinds (Visa and MasterCard) provided by the bank.
