Jordan Islamic Bank has signed an agreement to provide the service of issuing the credit report to its customers through the bank's electronic channel "Islami Mobile" and in cooperation with the credit information company "CRIF Jordan", so that Jordan Islamic Bank will be one of the first Jordanian banks to provide this service to its customers.
The agreement was signed on behalf of Jordan Islamic Bank, CEO/General Manager, Dr. Hussein Said, and on behalf of CRIF Jordan, General Manager Ahmed Amoudi, on 31/7/2022.
The advantage of this service, which was available only through customers reviewing the company "CRIF Jordan", is to enable the bank's customers to easily, and securely access their credit data and extract their credit report through the electronic bank application "Islami Mobile" without the need to review any of the bank's branches or “CRIF Jordan”.
Dr. Hussein Said, said, "our bank has sought to be one of the first Jordanian and Islamic banks to benefit from the services developed by CRIF Jordan Company to offer this new service to our customers, which comes in implementation of our bank's strategy towards digital transformation and enhancing our digital services series with a qualitative addition to the services we provide, which facilitates our customers have the time and effort to complete their transactions and obtain their credit report, and this service will be available “God willing” during the month of September of this year after completing all the procedures.
Dr. Hussein Said expressed his pride in the partnership with CRIF Jordan, which extended since 2016 and was renewed during the past year so that the company continues to provide the bank with credit information services and the new services it develops, culminating in this agreement that supports the bank’s digital transformation strategy in providing banking and credit services at the national level, and it supports the bank’s work in making the right credit decision to provide financing in accordance with the provisions and principles of Islamic Sharia by having a credit database with high reliability.
For his part, Mr. Ahmed Amoudi praised the continuity of cooperation with Jordan Islamic Bank, the largest Islamic bank in Jordan, as it enjoys a large segment of customers to benefit from the services of the "CRIF" company to achieve the aspirations of its customers to obtain the best services that meet their needs, which intersect with the company's specialized services in development and management the credit reporting systems by providing a comprehensive database that covers all credit providers in Jordan through an advanced technological platform for all banks, financial, insurance and service companies.
