JIB supports the sixth Arab Union of Electricity Conference

Jordan Islamic Bank (JIB) participated in the 6th  General Conference of the Arab Union for Electricity and the accompanying exhibition under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Engineer Hala Zwati. The conference was organized by Arab Union of Electricity In cooperation with the National Electricity Company in Jordan, with wide participation of the Arab Ministers of Electricity and Energy, the Directors General and CEOs of the governmental institutions and the private sector in the Arab countries, in addition to a large number of experts and researchers from all over the Arab and foreign countries during the period 5-6 / 12/2018. Commenting on the bank's participation in supporting the conference, Mr. Musa Shihadeh, General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank, said: "The continuity of our bank's sponsorship of the national electricity company's conferences and activities, including this conference is out of the bank’s assuming its social responsibilities and to strengthen the partnership with the electric power company to serve the national economy through the convening of scientific conferences specialized in the electricity sector at the level of the Arab region to develop this sector at the social and economic levels”. The Minister of Energy presented a special shield to Jordan Islamic Bank in recognition of the Bank's support and sponsorship of the conference, which was received by Engineer Eng. Nazih Nazzal. For his part, Eng. Amjad Al Rawashdeh, Director General of the National Electricity Company expressed his thanks and appreciation for the participation of Jordan Islamic Bank in supporting this conference, commending the Bank's continued cooperation in supporting the activities of the National Electricity Company.
