As Jordan Islamic Bank assumes its social responsibilities towards the members of the local community and achieves the principle of social solidarity, the Bank continues to participate in the 31th collective wedding ceremony organized by Al-Afaf Charitable Association, Where the Assistant General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank, Dr. Abdul Hamid Abu Saqri, handed a gift “Nuqoot” to (34) grooms and brides who participated in the ceremony, , at Sanabel Al-Khair School in Tariq on Friday 22/7/2022. CEO/General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank, Dr. Hussein Said, expressed his happiness with the Bank's participation in the joy of the bride and groom at their wedding, extending to them the best congratulations and blessings, and stressing the legitimate commitment of Jordan Islamic Bank, which requires that the bank does not aim to satisfy financial needs only, but rather aims to embody Islamic values in practical reality and to the benefit of society and the national economy, which is to help youth to get married and reduce the costs of marriage. Whereas, Jordan Islamic Bank continued to provide Al Qard Al-Hassan and “nuqoot” to the couple participating in the collective wedding ceremony organized by Al-Afaf Charitable Association since its establishment in 1995. The total good loans provided in coordination with the association until the end of 2021 amounted to about JD 7.1 million distributed among 11.2 thousand beneficiaries, in addition to financing those who wish to buy furniture and various necessities. For his part, Vice-President of Al-Afaf Charitable Society, Dr. Munther Zaitoun, praised the continuation of Jordan Islamic Bank’s support for the activities and programs of the association aimed at facilitating the means of marriage, which provides a model for solidarity to serve the people of the local community and in cooperation with the bank by providing good loans and cash to the newlyweds who participate in the wedding ceremony annually.
