Jordan Islamic Bank participated in the King Hussein Cancer Foundation in launching the “Goal for Life championship” initiative, which aims to provide donations to cover the costs of treating cancer patients, which was launched on the fourteenth of October and continues until the end of this month. Dr. Hussein Said, CEO/General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank, expressed his happiness with the bank’s participation in contributing to support cancer patients by strengthening the sustainable partnership with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation by diversifying the methods of support (whether by participating in the naming and honor program or establishing Al Joud fund to support needy patients.. etc.), which comes this year through the participation of Jordan Islamic Bank employees in friendly football matches with the teams of banks and companies and the provision of donations for the treatment of patients of the King Hussein Cancer Center. He stressed that this participation comes as an affirmation of Jordan Islamic Bank's commitment to its sustainable social responsibilities in the health field and supports the mission of combating cancer and achieving the principle of symbiotic cooperation among all members of society through the Bank's pursuit of its presence and the participation of its employees within the various initiatives that serve the local community. Mrs. Madeleine Al-Salaq, Director of the Fundraising Programs Department at the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, handed an honorary shield to Dr. Abdul Hamid Abu Saqri, Assistant General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank, in appreciation of the Bank's participation and support for the initiative.
