Jordan Islamic Bank supports the Global Recycling Day initiative

Jordan Islamic Bank participated in the Jordan Environment Society’s celebration of Global Recycling Day by presenting prizes to the schools that won in the Environmental Painting Competition, under the patronage of the President of the Interim Administrative Council of the General Union of Charitable Societies, His Excellency Dr. Atef Odaibat, on 2/2/2022 in the Royal Hospital hall. CEO/General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank, Dr. Hussein Said, expressed his pride in the sustainable partnership with the Jordan Environment Society   (JES) , which confirms the bank’s role in assuming its social responsibilities in the environmental field and sustainable development through the bank’s membership in the association and its continuous participation in the various annual initiatives. Which is concerned with spreading environmental awareness among the various segments of the local community, including the school category, which represents a large and effective segment in preserving and protecting the environment.. Mr. Ali Freihat, President of the Jordan Environment Society, praised the pioneering role of Jordan Islamic Bank in providing support and care for the association's activities to achieve its goals in maintaining the Jordanian environment clean from pollution and contributing to solving local environmental problems while ensuring the continuation of balanced and sustainable development. The representative of the bank was handed an honorary shield to Jordan Islamic Bank in appreciation of the bank's sponsorship and support for the activities of the Environment Society and the celebration of Global Recycling Day.
