Jordan Islamic Bank (JIB) supported and sponsored the ninth International Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Shari'a and Islamic Studies at Yarmouk University entitled "Jerusalem Shari’a Status and Hashemite Care" Under the auspices of H.E Dr. Abdul Raouf Al Rawabdeh and with the participation of a number of professors, academics, researchers and specialists from Jordanian and Arab universities during the period 25-27 / 6/2019 at Yarmouk University.
Dr. Hussain Said, Chief Executive Officer / General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank, said: "The continuity of our bank's sponsorship of the International Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Shari'a at Yarmouk University is a continuation of our bank's approach to enhancing its social role in the scientific and research fields through the support of many bodies of an academic, cultural and literary character, which correspond to the direction of the bank in general. In addition, this sponsorship is affirmation of our bank's social and religious responsibilities towards Islamic holy sites and its complementary role with various official and civil institutions and initiatives that emphasize the dissemination of culture, knowledge, awareness and preservation of the Holy City and its Arab and Islamic identity.
Prof. Osama Ali Al-Faqir Al-Rababa'a, Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Islamic Studies at Yarmouk University, commended the role played by the Jordan Islamic Bank in the economic and social fields as well as supporting the scientific movement and academic programs in Jordanian universities and institutions. He expressed his thanks and appreciation for the bank's patronage of the conference devoted to Al-Quds Al-Sharif, the historic role of Jordan and the Hashemite in the care of Jerusalem and Holy Places.
His Excellency Dr. Abdul Raouf Al Rawabdeh handed over a special shield to Jordan Islamic Bank received by the Director of the Bank's branch in Irbid, Edon Street, Dr. Mohammed Al-Daqamesa, in recognition of the bank’s support for the conference.
