Jordan Islamic Bank Supports Ajloun National University Conference "Small Projects"

Jordan Islamic Bank has provided support and sponsorship to the third International Conference of the College of Business Administration at Ajloun National University Entitled (Small Projects - Development, Empowerment, Challenges) under the patronage of HE Mr. Nidal Al Batayneh/ Prime Minister's Representative Minister of Labor and in the presence of the Governor, deputies and directors of official and security departments in Ajloun Governorate and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University and the President of Ajloun National University and with the broad participation of researchers and specialists from Arab and foreign universities During the period 22-24 / 7/2019 at the Ajloun National University. And on the Bank's contribution in supporting this conference Dr. Hussein Said, Chief Executive Officer / General Manager of Jordan Islamic bank, said that the bank's presence in various activities which aimed to support the small and medium enterprises comes in line with the Bank's efforts to achieve His strategy to promote the concept of financial inclusion, support for youth and women, and to develop financing for the SME sector and promote it Highlighting the role of  Islamic banking in providing financing opportunities for this sector and addressing the various challenges facing it, As well as strengthening the partnership between the Bank and the University of Ajloun National in carrying out the bank's social responsibilities in the scientific and research, also serves the local community within Ajloun governorate, which is reflected positively on the national economy and the local community. For his part, Professor Mahmoud Al-Rousan, President of Ajloun National University, praised the activities of the Jordan Islamic Bank and its pioneering role in serving the community and sponsoring the various activities of Ajloun National University and sponsoring this conference. At the end of the opening session of the conference, the Minister of Labor handed the Jordan Islamic Bank a special shield for the bank to sponsor in this conference that was received by the Bank's representative, Director of Jerash Branch Mr. Hussein Al-Qudah. The conference included scientific sessions ranging from Islamic banking, accounting and Economic fields, financial and developmental, also workshops Specialized for small and professional projects. As well as Empowerment of women and youth, Investment formulas and Islamic finance in support of small projects, and a review cases and practical experiences of small local, regional and international projects.
