JIB supports Jerash University Conference “Artificial Intelligence and Economic Development”

Jordan Islamic Bank(JIB) supported and sponsored the Fourth International Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Jerash University entitled "Artificial Intelligence and Economic Development" under the patronage of the President of Jerash University, Dr. Yousef Abu Al-Adous with the participation of a number of academics and researchers from Jordanian and Arab universities, which was held at the University of Jerash on April 15 and lasted for three days. Musa Shihadeh, General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank said, “Our bank's sponsorship of the Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Economic Development is an affirmation of the social role of the Bank by supporting the various efforts being made to advance the march of science, development and economy and its impact on community service. He pointed out that the contribution and support of the bank to many conferences and meetings organized by the University of Jerash is to strengthen the social role of the bank by promoting a sustainable partnership between the bank and higher education institutions, which serve the community and the national economy. Dr. Hamza Al Hawamdeh, Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Business at Jerash University, and Chairman of the Preparatory Committee of the Conference, expressed his thanks and appreciation to Jordan Islamic Bank for sponsoring this conference, which is a continuation of the patronage and support provided by the Bank to the activities of Jerash University. The President of the University also honored the Bank with a shield in appreciation of sponsoring the conference, which was handed over by Mr. Hussein Al-Qudah, Director of JIB / Jerash Branch. The conference tackled key topics including investment, financial markets, risk management, ethics, social responsibility, business incubation, simulation, modeling, cloud computing, Islamic and traditional banking.
