Jordan Islamic Bank supports the "Student rukn" at the University of Jordan

JIB participated in the celebrations of the University of Jordan / Center for Community Development of the local community, for the birthday of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, under the patronage of the President of the University of Jordan, Prof. Dr. Abdul Karim Al-Qudah, where the "Student rukn Project" was opened within the clothing bank for the University of Jordan with a donation and support from JIB, in the building of Islamic Cultural Center to celebrate in this occasion on 10/2/2020. Dr. Hussein Said, CEO / General Manager of JIB, said that our bank contributed financial support to establish this project, where this project is considered as the first of its kind at the University of Jordan to secure the needs of students with low-income from clothes and it's free in order to enhance the role of our social bank through its participation actors in various social activities that achieve the principle of social solidarity and sustainable development, Stressing his pride in the sustainable partnership between JIB and UJ through societal, scientific and research activities that serve to support the scientific and academic march and serve the student community, the local community in order to the national economy. Prof. Nihad Al-Buteikhi, Director of the Community Development and Service Center at the University of Jordan, thanked JIB for its support for the success of the clothing bank / Student rukn Project, which will contribute to providing the poor student with a winter and summer clothing annually. At the end of the ceremony, the President of the University of Jordan Professor Dr. Abdul Karim Al-Qudah handed over an honorary shield to JIB for his support and donation to the project.
