Jordan Islamic Bank wins in the "Best Performing Islamic Bank in the Middle East 2019 '' from the World Islamic Banking Conference Awards

JIB won in the Best Performing Islamic Bank of the Middle East Award 2019 (Leaderboard) during the announcement of the winners of the World Islamic Banking Conference Awards 2019. Dr. Hussein Said, General Manager of JIB, received this award from Dr. Rashid Al-maraj, Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain. During the dinner held on the sidelines of the World Islamic Banking Conference (WIBC) in its twenty-sixth session under the slogan of major trends in the banking and finance sectors, Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister of Bahrain, in the presence of Mr. Adnan Ahmed Yousef, Chairman of the Association of Banks in Bahrain and CEO of Al Baraka Banking Group in Bahrain, With the participation of officials and specialists in central, Arab and international banks, businessmen and researchers, at the Gulf Hotel in the Kingdom of Bahrain on 3/12/2019. These Awards are a comprehensive assessment tool that serves as an innovative benchmark. And it helps Islamic financial institutions to measure and evaluate their performance against their major competitors and highlights the excellence in the Islamic financial and banking sector by selecting award winners based on their overall performance scores against multiple metrics. Global and regional level and based on three measures: financial stability, financial performance, governance and social responsibility, and the award-winning Islamic financial institutions have achieved the overall score both domestically and globally. Dr. Hussein Said expressed his pride in the achievements of the JIB, which contributed to the continuity of his winning the World Conference for Islamic Banking Awards, which confirm the success of the bank's policy and strategy to achieve the best results at various levels, so that the Jordan Islamic Bank remains a successful model for Islamic banking work, achieving the best performance with various indicators, Which needs to make more efforts to always achieve the best, praising the role of the World Islamic Banking Conference (WIBC) and the awards that it gives to serve the  Islamic banking work and the advancement and excellence. It is worth mentioning that JIB has already won the World Islamic Banking Conference Awards 2018, "Best Islamic Bank in the Regional / Arab Middle East" and in 2015, it won the Best Islamic Bank in the Jordan and Best Islamic Bank in the Arab Region. in recognition of the Bank's outstanding performance and achievements at both levels.
