JIB honors the Winners of Holy Quran Memorization in Yarmouk University

Jordan Islamic Bank (JIB) honored the winners in the competition of Holy Quran memorization in Yarmouk University by distributing cash prizes  during a ceremony held under the patronage of Prof. Rifat Alfaouri , president of Yarmouk university , by an organization of the deanship of the students affairs in cooperation with Sharia faculty and Islamic studies on Tuesday 9/8/2016. Mr. Musa Shihadeh, CEO – General Manager of JIB said the bank’s support for this competition which is held continually by Yarmouk university to honor memorizers of Holy Quran is out of assuming its social responsibilities and its special interest in Holy Quran through supporting, honoring and providing prizes to the competitions of Holy Quran memorization organized by official institutions  , associations, local community institutions , schools or universities.  Some of the competitions supported by our bank during the current year were those organized by the University of Jordan/ Faculty of Sharia and Islamic Cultural Centre, the International Hashemite competition for memorization and recital of Hoy Quran by an organization of Ministry of Awqaf, the Conservation of Holy Quran Society, Jordan Reciter Program , “Beautify Your Voice with Holy Quran” competition organized by Omareyah Schools. Prof. Ahmad Alshayab, the Dean of students’ affairs in Yarmouk university extended his thanks and gratitude to Jordan Islamic Bank for its support and permanent sponsorship of  the prizes of Holy Quran competitions and for  the activities of the university and its various conferences. However, the representative of JIB received an honorary shield in appreciation of the bank’s support of this competition.
