Jordan Islamic Bank mourned with great sadness and sorrow the late Sheikh Saleh bin Abdullah kamel, Honorary Chairman of Jordan Islamic Bank, former Chairman and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Baraka Banking Group / Bahrain.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Jordan Islamic Bank Mr. Musa Shihadeh in his name and on behalf of the members of the Board of Directors of Jordan Islamic Bank expressed on his deep sorrow at the departure of Sheikh Saleh Abdullah Kamel, dean and founder of Islamic banking for more than forty years, in advance the warmest condolences and sympathy to the family of the great deceased, and the Islamic banking family In Jordan and the Arab and Islamic worlds.
Mr. Musa explained that Islamic banking is losing by the death of Sheikh Saleh Kamel, one of its most prominent pillars and founders at the regional and global levels, praising the pivotal and fundamental role in promoting the principles and business of Islamic banks, which have come to an advanced position in the financial and business economics and have proven great successes despite the challenges and financial crises that confronted the world.
For his part, CEO / General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank, Dr. Hussein Said, extended his condolences to the families of Sheikh Saleh Abdullah Kamel in his name and on behalf of all the employees of the bank, stressing the bank’s pride in Sheikh Saleh Kamel’s great contributions in supporting the Jordanian national economy by establishing Jordan Islamic Bank where the bank worked on achieving high levels of progress, excellence and success and placing Jordan on the map of Islamic banking through its successes in pioneering Islamic banking as the largest Islamic bank in Jordan, and supporting the national economy.
And we ask Allah, the almighty, to have him with his mercy and forgiveness and inspire his family with patience. Also we ask Allah to reward him for all he offered to all members of the Islamic World in the economic and social levels in addition to consider his benevolent contributions in the scale of his good deeds.
