Jordan Islamic Bank (JIB) and the Public Security Directorate / Community Police held the Friends of Police Workshop for the staff of the Bank in the North Governorate in the training hall of the bank located in Irbid / Palestine Street in the presence of the Assistant General Manager of JIB, Dr. Mohammad Fahmi Jabari, Assistant Police Director of Irbid province, Colonel Atef Al-Sarayrah, Director of the City Security Center, Colonel Alaa Al-Momani and the representative of the community police. Mr. Musa Shihadeh, General Manager of JIB, commended the efforts of the Directorate of Public Security to strengthen the relationship with the bank through holding these courses which complement the cooperation between our bank and the Directorate of Public Security to qualify the Bank's employees in the security field, asserting the Bank’s endeavor to increase the training of its employees, raise awareness and equip them with the necessary skills and information that contribute to the improvement and performance of their banking and security work aimed at raising awareness of crimes. Colonel Atef Al Sarayra thanked Jordan Islamic Bank for its continuous cooperation with the Directorate of Public Security at all levels and its interest in training its staff and spreading the concept of community policing to reach a safe and crime-free society, Indicating that the aim of holding the training courses of police friends is to reach all segments of society to strengthen the good relationship between the security man and the citizen who is a partner working side by side with the man of public security. The Assistant General Manager of JIB, Dr. Mohammad Fahmi Al-Jabari, said in a welcoming speech that he was happy to hold a police friends workshop at Jordan Islamic Bank. He praised the security system through which the public security apparatus works and the great progress achieved in the application of the concept of community police and the benefit to be gained by participants in this workshop, which deepens the concept of security. The five-day course was attended by 25 staff from the Bank's branches in the northern governorates who were selected according to a set of criteria. The course included the introduction of public security duties, community policing, cybercrime, electronic recruitment and theft.
