As part of the cooperation between the Bank, the Central Bank of Jordan and Sanad Fund for Financing Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Jordan Islamic Bank (JIB) held a specialized workshop for a group of the Bank's clients in the governorates of Aqaba and Ma'an from SME'S sector, in order to enhance the concept of financial coverage to cover different segments of society. The workshop was prepared and organized by SME Finance Department and the Training and Human Resource Development Academy of the bank in the academy training halls in Aqaba branch on 21/3/2019. Mr. Musa Shihadeh, General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank, said: "Out of the bank's role in social responsibility and its strategy to enhance the role of financial coverage, expand the umbrella of beneficiaries of financial services with high quality and contribution to sustainable development, social and financial stability in the society, increasing labor force and reducing poverty rates, this workshop was held for our bank's clients in Aqaba and Ma'an governorates to complete the training workshops that our bank started to implement during 2017. However, holding this workshop will end at the end of this year 2019 with two training sessions each year. We started this year in the governorates of Aqaba and Ma'an. A second workshop will be held during the second half of the current year to cover the branches of Amman and center branches. Thus, our bank provided the opportunity for its clients in the SME sector from all regions of the Kingdom (Central, North, East and South) to learn the most important administrative and financial skills necessary for financial planning and business management in accordance with best practices that will help in how to obtain funding for micro, small and medium enterprises. " Dr. Musa Mubarak, Assistant Director General of Jordan Islamic Bank, delivered the certificates to the participants in the workshop. For their part, participants expressed their gratitude and thanks to the management of JIB, which is keen to communicate with them and hold this workshop.
