JIB sponsors the Scientific Day for Jordanian Certified Public Accountants

Jordan Islamic Bank participated in sponsoring the Professional Scientific Day of the Jordanian Association of Certified Public Accountants entitled (International Standard for Financial Reporting for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises - Between Theory and Practice), which was held under the patronage of the representative of His Excellency the Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply / Mrs. Dana Al-Zoubi, Secretary General of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply. Where she handed an honorary shield to the Assistant General manager of Jordan Islamic Bank, Dr. Abdul Hamid Abu Saqri, in appreciation of the bank’s support and sponsorship of the conference, in which a group of lecturers and specialists with expertise and competence in international standards, financial and economic fields, chartered accountants from Jordan, the Arab region, and regulatory bodies in Jordan participated, on the fifteenth from October 2022 at the Kempinski Hotel Amman. CEO/General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank, Dr. Hussein Said, expressed his appreciation to the Jordanian Association of Certified Public Accountants and its keenness to hold the scientific day, which puts the business environment in Jordan in the form of the latest developments related to international standards, in light of what the business environment in the world is subjected to continuous changes as a result of economic developments and the resulting changes in accounting treatments, international standards, laws and legislation that govern the business environment to keep pace with economic developments, stressing the bank’s commitment to bearing its social and economic responsibilities by providing support and sponsorship for meetings, conferences, seminars and any activity that contributes to supporting the economic and development process. For his part, Mr. Hussam Rahal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Jordanian Association of Certified Public Accountants, said that Jordan Islamic Bank is considered one of the leading banks in the world in the field of business development, adopting the implementation of international standards, developing capabilities and administrative skills, and sponsoring this scientific day, which has a major role in achieving its goals and strengthening business organizations in Jordan.
