JIB sponsors Arab Youth Engineers Forum "SIQ 22"

Jordan Islamic Bank sponsored Arab Youth Engineers Forum under the slogan " Siq 22" and titled "The Arab Vision: Engineering and Technology". It was organized by the Jordanian Engineers Association and in cooperation with the Federation of Arab Engineers. It was held under the auspices of the representative of His Royal Highness Prince El Hassan bin Talal, His Excellency Eng. Shehada Abu Hudaib, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Potash Company, and with the participation of a group of Arab engineers, investors and pioneers in the fields of technology, engineering, innovation and business from various countries of the Arab world, and it lasted for three days until 29/11/2022. The forum aims to achieve an Arab engineering renaissance for a sustainable economy, as it included dialogue and interactive sessions based on the exchange of experiences, knowledge and ideas on the most important topics that occupy the Arab world, and to achieve youth investments for creative pioneering projects in an era of smart engineering and technology to contribute realistically to solving unemployment problems through the use of the latest technologies and information. Dr. Hussein Said, CEO/General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank, said, "Our bank always seeks to be present within the various meetings that are consistent with the royal visions in empowering youth, fighting unemployment, and encouraging and supporting entrepreneurial projects. Our bank's sponsorship of this forum came in line with the role of our bank in assuming its social responsibilities and sustainability." By supporting the category of youth engineers and enabling them to establish development and pioneering projects that will achieve a permanent source of income for them by identifying their creative energies that contribute to building their future and serving their society, and to enhance the continuity of communication between our bank with civil society institutions, including Jordan Engineers Association. On this occasion, Eng. Ahmed Samara Al-Zu’bi, President of Jordan Engineers Association, praised the role of Jordan Islamic Bank in supporting the activities of Jordan Engineers Association and throughout the year, and in appreciation of the bank’s sponsorship of the forum, an honorary shield was presented to the bank, which was handed by His Excellency Eng. Shehadeh Abu Hudaib to the bank’s representative.
