JIB sponsors Omareyah schools competition

Jordan Islamic Bank (JIB) sponsored a competition titled “ Beautify Your Voices with Holy Quran” organized by Omareyah schools with a participation of more than 40 public and private schools and a jury of specialized Jordanian reciters . Winners students and teachers were handed cash prizes from Jordan Islamic Bank during a ceremony held at the sport and cultural auditorium of Omareyah schools On Wednesday 16 March 2016. Dr Ahmed AlHersh, Headmaster of the Male secondary section of Omareyah School expressed his appreciation of JIB’s sponsorship of the competition’s prizes in its twelfth season which was launched by Omareyah schools to highlight refined voices  that recite Holy Quran , to increase the spirit of competition in the field of memorization and recitation and to urge students and teachers to participate in this competition. JIB sponsors this competition out  of assuming its social responsibilities towards  local community through its permanent support for various activities interested in Holy Quran including  annual competitions for memorization of Holy Quran held by the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs, Jordan universities, schools, Conservation of Holy Quran Society and AlSaleheen Association  and other voluntary and charitable organizations and institutions. At the end of the ceremony, Mr. Hisham AbdelMoti, Director General of Omareyah schools handed Mr. Ahmad Abdelkareem, Manager of Public Relations of Jordan Islamic Bank an honorary shield in appreciation of the bank’s distinguished efforts in supporting the competition.
