JIB sponsors the Jerusalem Competition

Jordan Islamic Bank (JIB) participated in providing the sponsorship and support for drawing competition titled “Jerusalem in the Consciousness of Younger Generation” , among students of  the Hashemite kingdom of Jordan, where prizes, certificates and shields were distributed to the winners  during an honoring celebration held by Jerusalem Studies Centre/ Jerusalem Day Society on Tuesday 18/10/2016 at Arab Model Schools. DR. Hussein Said , Deputy General Manager of JIB delivered a statement in the celebration in which he commended the winners students in the drawing competition which is considered  a creative achievement shows the awareness of the generation and their interaction with Jerusalem issue and the sufferance of its residents through true expressive drawings reflect their love for it, In order for Jerusalem to remain the most important issue for Arab and Muslim citizen. He indicated as well that the continuation of JIB to support the activities of Jerusalem Day Society and its annual competitions aims to consolidate the mutual relationship between our bank and the Society since its incorporation and out of assuming the bank its social responsibilities and its complementary role with civil community institutions to support all efforts exerted to diffuse awareness of Jerusalem issue and highlight its religious status , its history and civilization , in addition to assert the distinguished status this holy land occupies in the heart of Jordanian people  . H.E Dr. Hisham AlKhatib, Director of Jerusalem studies Centre handed Jordan Islamic Bank an honorary shield in appreciation of its continuous support for activities of Jerusalem Day Society, commending its role and distinguished status in Islamic banking business and its efficient contribution in supporting national economy  and all efforts and activities which aim to spread awareness of Jerusalem including the competitions organized by Jerusalem Day Society.
