JIB Sponsors the 3rd Silk Road Conference

Jordan Islamic Bank (JIB) has provided the sponsorship and support for the third Silk Road Conference titled “ Opportunities and Businesses” organized by Palestinian Jordanian Business Forum in cooperation with Amman Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Jordan Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Jordanian Industries Cities. The conference was inaugurated by the Prime Minister Deputy , HE Mr. Yaroub Alqdah , Minister of Industry, Trade and Supplies with participation of nearly 500 businessmen from over 30 countries to highlight the secured investment environment in Jordan in Four Seasons Hotel on Saturday 18/11/2017. On behalf of Mr. Musa Shihadeh, General Manager of JIB, Dr, Hussein Said , Deputy GM delivered welcoming remarks during the gala dinner in an honor of participants of the conference on 17/11/2017 at Salma Restaurant in which he expressed his pleasure of the bank’s assuming its social , economic and developmental responsibilities through sponsoring this forum in continuation of the support provided for the first and second silk road conferences to serve the national and Arab economy , commending the prompt efforts exerted to hold the third silk road conference which has become an international economic platform which contributes to accelerate the economic development and attracts investors to be advised of the promising investment opportunities in Jordan and Palestine and enhance the partnerships and cooperation between Jordanian ,Palestinian and Arab businessmen. Dr. Talal Baw , Chairman of Palestinian Jordanian Business Forum handed Dr. Hussein Said an honorary shield in appreciation of JIB’s support for the conference, extending his thanks to the constant support the bank provides for activities of Palestinian Jordanian Business Forum.
