JIB Sponsors “Enhancing Jordanian Engineer Competitiveness” Workshop

Jordan Islamic Bank (JIB) provided its exclusive sponsorship for the Jordanian Engineers' specialized workshop entitled "Enhancing the Competitiveness of the Jordanian Engineer through the Development of Higher Engineering System", with the participation of HE Dr. Adel Al-Twaisi, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and with the participation of the deans of the engineering faculties in the Jordanian universities, the Jordanian engineers' Head Eng. Ahmed Al-Zoubi and a group of engineers from different engineering disciplines at the Royal Hotel Amman.  For his part, General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank, Mr. Musa Shihadeh asserted that JIB assumes its social responsibilities in the field of education and research by supporting any activity that enhances the educational, academic and research system, which is reflected in the outputs of education in various disciplines, including engineering. He expressed his pride in the sustainable relationship between the Bank and the Jordan Engineers Association and the bank’s readiness to provide support to various activities that serve the local community and the national economy. The Secretary-General of the Jordan Engineers Association, Eng. Mohammad Ghazi Abu Afifah, thanked JIB for sponsoring the workshop, which enhances the existing partnership between the union and the bank and reflects positively on the reality of higher education in Jordan in general and engineering education in particular.
