Jordan Islamic Bank participated in the Amman Chamber of Commerce initiative in lighting and decorating the commercial and tourist streets in the capital Amman during the holy month of Ramadan and the happy Eid al-Fitr, followed by the blessed Eid al-Adha, to include Jabal Al-Hussein area, Firas Roundabout, Al-Jalil Street, the main street and other areas.
CEO/General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank, Dr. Hussein Said, said, confirming our bank’s shouldering of its economic and social responsibilities, and to promote sustainable cooperation between our bank and Amman Chamber of Commerce, and in cooperation and coordination with the Greater Amman Municipality, our bank has been decorating streets and areas for three years respectively and in partnership with Amman Chamber of Commerce in the center of the capital and some other commercial areas with lit decorations in the holy month of Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha, because of its happy effects on the citizens and guests of Jordan, and to celebrate these happy occasions, which contribute to revitalizing the commercial and tourism movement and works to highlight the cheerful civilized image of the capital Amman
Dr. Hussein Said stressed the keenness of Jordan Islamic Bank to have a continuous presence in any event or activity that enhances the bank's role in supporting the national economy, serving the local community, and sustainable development.
For his part, the President of Amman Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Khalil Haj Tawfiq, praised the strategic partnership with Jordan Islamic Bank, which supports the social responsibility of the Chamber and the Bank, and the keenness to highlight the bright face of the capital, Amman, in its sweetest way, to celebrate the holy month and happy holidays, encouraging the tourism movement and revitalizing the markets frequented by citizens to buy their needs.
