Jordan Islamic Bank (JIB) participated in supporting the annual 24th collective wedding celebration organized by Alafaf Charitable Society at Alafaf Complex in Tareq area on Friday 26/8/2016. Dr Hussein Said , Deputy General Manager of JIB handed the couples participating in the celebration and whose number reached 42 a cash gift from the bank (Nuqoot)in the amount of 4200 JD.
Dr .Hussein Said expressed how much pleased he is with supporting the collective wedding party for the 24th consecutive year in an assertion of the bank’s assuming social responsibilities towards community individuals through its direct support for various social activities in general and Alafaf in particular. The value of loans granted in cooperation with Alafaf society reached JD 5.1 million by the end of 2015 benefited 9227 citizens, where the value of loans granted during the year 2015 amounted to about 144 thousand dinar benefited about 206 citizens in addition to finance those who wish by Murabaha mode to purchase furniture and various needs . he confirmed as well the bank’s continuation to support people who are about to get married in cooperation with Alafaf society or through the bank directly , where the bank provides good loans “ AlQard AlHassan “ to citizens for justified social needs such as medication , education and marriage. The total of AlQard AlHassan the bank provided since its incorporation till the end of 2015 amounted to about JD 236 million benefited about 406 thousand citizens .
H. E Dr. AbdelLatif Arabyat, Chairman of Alafaf Charitable Society delivered a statement in which he commended JIB’s role and the strategic partnership between the bank and the Society through its continuation to participate and support the activities of Alafaf Society and its meaningful program to facilitate marriage through holding collective wedding parties and providing Nuqoot and Good Loans ( AlQard AlHassan) for newly married in addition to the contribution in the establishment of Alafaf complex, appreciating the efforts and continuous support of Jordan Islamic Bank for the activities of the Society.
