JIB Continues to Sponsor Jordan Reciter Program

Jordan Islamic Bank (JIB) continued to provide financial support to the Jordan Reciter Program in its seventh season and to present prizes to the winners organized by the Foundation of the Reciters of Jordan and the World Islamic Association of Reciters, which was broadcast during the holy month of Ramadan via Jordanian TV. Dr. Hussain Said, Chief Executive Officer / General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank said that the continuation of our bank to sponsor the Jordan Reciter Program is an affirmation of our bank's social responsibilities in the cultural field and its support for various targeted initiatives. To provide cultural and religious material to the local community especially the Youth and fill their time with what is useful HE Dr. Abdul Nasser Abu Al Basal, Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs presented a special shield to Jordan Islamic Bank in recognition of its support and sponsorship of the program during the closing ceremony of the program which was held on the night of the 29th of Ramadan in the conference hall where the winner of the Jordan Reciter Award for 2019 was announced and the participants in the program were honored. Dr. Saleh Al-Zayyoud, Advisor to the President of the Islamic World Association for Reciters, representative of Jordan Reciter Foundation, extended his thanks to Jordan Islamic Bank for its continuous support of the program from its beginnings until its seventh season. He stressed that this program aims to highlight the talents, identify the outstanding people in reciting the Holy Quran, and disseminate the culture of improving and learning the provisions and the method of recitation and the beauty of sound and performance.
