Jib Continues to Support the Ceremony Honoring for The Families of Cornea Donors

Under the generous patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Raad bin Zaid, Jordan Islamic Bank continued its support for the honoring ceremony for the families of cornea donors to distribute certificates of appreciation to them, the supporting institutions, volunteers and people who donated corneas and their families, which is organized by Eye Bank Friends' Association and the Prevention of Blindness and Jordan Eye Bank for the eleventh time, and in the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Jordan Islamic Bank, Mr. Musa Shihadeh, and CEO/General Manager of the Bank, Dr. Hussein Said, his assistants, the official institutions and the relevant bodies, at Jabri Central Restaurant on Saturday 29/10/2022 Dr. Hussein Said expressed his happiness for the continuation of Jordan Islamic Bank to participate in the honoring ceremony for the families of cornea donors, which was suspended for two years due to the Corona pandemic, appreciating the trust of His Royal Highness Prince Raad bin Zaid, may God protect him, in Jordan Islamic Bank to contribute to supporting the efforts of the Eye Bank Friends' Association and the Prevention of Blindness and Jordan Eye Bank, appreciating all the efforts exerted in Jordan in this field to reach the stage of self-sufficiency and to make Jordan will be the example and role model for other countries of the world with the solidarity of all its children. Dr. Hussein Said indicated that the role of Jordan Islamic Bank in assuming its social responsibilities through distinguished activities is a milestone in its social performance, including the honoring ceremony for the families of cornea donors, which is one of the most prominent and most important social activities of our bank every year. Our bank has taken it upon itself for more than ten years of providing support for ceremonies honoring the families of cornea donors to strengthen the partnership between our bank and Association of Eye Bank Friends  and the Prevention of Blindness and Jordan Eye Bank, to spread sustainable awareness by donating corneas to continue this charitable march to appreciate compatriots, stressing the keenness of Jordan Islamic Bank to provide support and be present within any activity that serves the march of good in Jordan. For her part, the Vice President of Association of Eye Bank Friends and the Prevention of Blindness, Dr. Hanan Al-Droubi, thanked Jordan Islamic Bank for its continued sponsorship of the honoring ceremony for the families of cornea donors as one of the main partners supporting the association, it values the role of the donors' families and all other partners supporting the efforts being made in the field of cornea donation awareness. The families of the cornea donors and the people who donated to them expressed their thanks and appreciation for holding this honoring ceremony, reviewing their experience with the aim of contributing to spreading awareness in the field of cornea donation and its impact on community members.
