Jordan Islamic Bank Continues its Sustainable Environmental Activities on Tree Day in Ajloun

Jordan Islamic Bank continued its sustainable environmental activities through its participation and support for the environmental initiative, Tree Planting Campaign in Ajloun Governorate / Rajeb Region, which was held under the auspices of the Governor of Ajloun, Dr. Qabalan Al-Sharif, and organized by Jordan Environment Society, in cooperation with the New Kufranja Municipality and the Directorate of Agriculture, on the occasion of the celebration of the "World Tree Day", and in the presence of representatives of the Bank, a number of official authorities in Ajloun Governorate, the Kufranja District, the Directorate of Education, representatives of the Royal Department for Environmental Protection, security bodies, and volunteers from the local community, on Monday. 20/2/2023. Dr. Hussein Said, Chief Executive Officer / General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank, said, "Our bank's adoption of participation and support for the tree planting initiative comes out of our bank's interest in protecting the environment and contributing to mitigating environmental risks by supporting initiatives aimed at increasing the green area through tree planting, and our bank's social activities in the field of sustainable green environment have varied every year through our bank's membership in Jordan Environment Society and its sponsorship of the environmental initiatives that it organizes annually, such as World Earth Day, Recycling Day, Forest Day, or World Environment Day...etc. On this occasion, Mr. Ali Freihat, President of Jordan Environment Society, expressed his thanks and appreciation for the bank's continuous efforts to support voluntary bodies aimed at preserving the environment and solving environmental problems through the bank's continued sponsorship of the environmental association's initiatives annually and for this initiative.
