JIB Sponsors Scientific Day of Faculty of Sharia / University of Jordan

Jordan Islamic Bank (JIB) continued to sponsor the scientific day of the Faculty of Shari'a at the University of Jordan and to honor the winners of the Quran memorization and Hadith competition and the winners of the best Shari’a research during the scientific day entitled "The role of the Faculty of Sharia in contemporary intellectual construction". The event was held under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Majdouba Vice President for Human Faculties at University of Jordan where he delivered an honorary shield received by Dr. Hussein Saeed, Deputy General Manager of JIB in recognition of the Bank's sponsorship of the scientific day on 9/4/2019. Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Scientific Day on behalf of Mr. Musa Shihadeh, General of Manager of JIB, Dr. Hussein Said said: "The continuation of our bank to support and sponsor the scientific day of the Faculty of Sharia at the University of Jordan and honoring the winning students is out of assuming its social responsibilities to support the scientific and academic process.  He pointed out that this support is a continuation of the Bank's contribution to support the Faculty of Shari'a at the University of Jordan. During the past year, the Bank has donated the costs of updating four halls in the Faculty of Shari'a, as well as sponsoring the activities, conferences and seminars of the Faculty of Sharia and honoring the memorizers of the Holy Quran and Hadith. Professor Adnan Al-Assaf, Dean of the Faculty of Sharia / University of Jordan, expressed his thanks and appreciation to Jordan Islamic Bank for its continuous cooperation with the Faculty of Sharia and supporting its mission and activities in each year.
