JIB continues to sponsor the Islamic Cultural Center Competition for memorizing the Holy Quran

Jordan Islamic Bank (JIB) continued to present cash prizes to the winners of the Quran memorization competition and the cultural competition in the book "Alrahiq Almakhtoum" for the students of the University of Jordan and the local community organized by the Islamic Cultural Center / University of Jordan annually. A ceremony honoring the winners of the competition was held under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed Al Awaysheh, Director of the Islamic Cultural Center. The honorary award was presented to the winners in the building of the Islamic Cultural Center on Thursday, 9/8/2018. On this occasion, Mr. Musa Shihadeh, General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank, stressed the Bank's keenness to be part of any activity that seeks to preserve the Holy Quran and spread Islamic culture, in order to ensure that the Bank will assume its social responsibilities through the continuity to provide awards or donations and sponsorships for these activities which are beneficial for local community. He also commended the partnership between the Bank and the University of Jordan and the Islamic Cultural Center through continuous support of its various activities, including the contribution of the Bank to support the solar energy project of the Center and the University of Jordan mosque and donate to the sons of the Islamic community studying at the university and sponsoring the second issue of the magazine of the Islamic Cultural Center. In a speech delivered during the ceremony, Dr. Ahmed Al-Awaysheh, Director of the Center, thanked Jordan Islamic Bank, which is one of the leading Jordanian institutions and has a direct role in supporting national institutions and universities. The Bank continues to present prizes to the winners of the competition annually and sponsoring the various activities of the Islamic Cultural Center aimed at spreading and promoting Islamic culture among university students and members of the local community.
