Amman, 28 November 2022 - Jordan Islamic Bank and the king Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center (KHCC) signed a cooperation agreement that includes the bank's continuation of supporting Al-Joud Fund in the name of "Jordan Islamic Bank", which is dedicated to covering the costs of treating uncapable patients at the King Hussein Cancer Center. The memorandum was signed on behalf of Jordan Islamic Bank, CEO / General Manager, Dr. Hussein Said, and on behalf of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, General Manager / Mrs. Nisreen Qatamesh, on the twenty-eighth of November 2022 at the building of Head office of the bank. In this regard, Dr. Hussein Said expressed his pride in the sustainable partnership with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center and the continuity of implementing the Bank's initiative for Al-Joud Fund in the name of "Jordan Islamic Bank", which started since 2017 and will continue through this agreement for another five years, as a contribution from the Bank to support the treatment of cancer patients who do not have the ability to bear the costs of treatment, in order to achieve the principle of social solidarity, and to confirm the bank’s assumption of its social responsibilities in the field of health and support for the less fortunate, so that the bank maintains its distinguished position within the category of supporters of the efforts made by the King Hussein Cancer Center against this disease, in addition to supporting many activities and annual campaigns which has been implemented by the Foundation over the years, including during the current year the participation in the initiative (Goal for Life 2022) to treat needy patients. In this regard, Mrs. Nisreen Qatamesh said: "We appreciate the efforts of Jordan Islamic Bank to join our supporters in the fight against cancer, and to give the chance of recovery to our patients who do not have any institutions covering the costs of treatment."
