JIB inaugurates the First Jordanian Bank in Western Zarqa

Under the patronage of Mr. Musa Shihadeh, General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank (JIB), a reception was held on the occasion of opening a new branch of the bank in Zarqa Al Gharbiya / Zarqa governorate- Birin Street opposite the College of Cordoba previously, and in the presence of residents, dignitaries, traders of the area, clients of the bank and the executive management on 31/1/2019. Mr. Musa Shihadeh said, "We continue to serve the largest number of our customers and attract more new customers in various regions of the Kingdom in line with the strategy of the bank to expand its services and branching network that reached 107 branches and offices spread throughout the Kingdom. With the opening of the seventy-seventh branch of JIB in Zarqa Al Gharbiya, Zarqa Governorate has 13 branches and offices of our bank. However, out of the bank’s interest in ensuring banking services in areas not serviced by the banks, JIB opened a branch in Zarqa Al Gharbiya to be the first local bank in the region, for Zarqa Al Gharbiya does not have a branch of Islamic or commercial banks or ATMs serving the region. It is one of the vital and rapidly growing areas, commercially and domestically, with many shops, medical center, public, and private schools”. Shihadeh stressed the continued application of the policy of branching and geographical spread by opening more branches and offices and providing them with the best banking skills, serving the national economy and contributing to solving the problems of poverty and unemployment and applying the policy of financial inclusion. In addition, provide the best services and products that keep up with the latest technological developments and comply with the provisions and principles of Islamic Sharia easily and conveniently with other electronic services provided by the bank such as mobile banking, I- Banking, SMS service and advanced banking services through ATMs, where the number of ATMs reach 234 ATMs spread throughout the Kingdom.
