Jordan Islamic Bank received a special honor from the International MasterCard Company, due to the bank’s great growth rate in expanding its customer base from MasterCard holders, enhancing its market share and emphasizing its competitive efficiency at the level of Jordan through the distinguished results achieved by the marketing campaign launched by the Bank during the current year (summer campaign) to market the various types of MasterCard cards issued by the bank.
On this occasion, Dr. Hussein Said, CEO/General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank, said that the Bank is keen to strengthen the continuous cooperation with the International MasterCard Company and to achieve the best benefits for our customers from the holders of MasterCard cards of all kinds (Standard, Titanium, Master Gold, World Al Baraka and affiliated cards), in addition to developing the market share of our bank in the activity of banking cards at the local level, in addition to its important role in promoting digital banking and stimulating the economic movement of individuals and merchants.
He added that:“ This honor comes as a result of the efforts made by our employees to achieve the highest issuance of banking cards that serve our customers, and it is an appreciation for their confidence in the MasterCard cards issued by our bank. It also constitutes an incentive for us to continue expanding the provision of services that meet the needs of the bank's customers and reflect the upgrading of service provision and achievement rates.”
For her part, Mrs. Cynthia El-Khoury, Country Business Development lead Levant and Iraq at Mastercard, said that: Jordan Islamic Bank succeeded, through its distinguished marketing campaigns, including the summer campaign, by introducing consumers to the benefits of MasterCard cards and the added value they provide to customers, which made it among the most vital banking institutions in the field of marketing MasterCard cards that enjoy the trust of consumers around the world. In turn, we will continue to work to enhance this fruitful partnership with the bank to provide easy, smooth and secure payment experiences that give consumers in the Kingdom peace of mind and reassurance.”
Mrs. Cynthia Al-Khoury handed the honorary shield to Mr. “Mohammed Fawaz” Sudqi Imam/Assistant General Manager of the Bank at Head office Building of Jordan Islamic Bank, in the presence of managers and officials from both sides.
