Jordan Islamic Bank (JIB) provided a donation to rehabilitate the integrated education pavilion at the Faculty of Sharia / University of Jordan, including the rehabilitation of four teaching rooms by introducing modern equipment and teaching aids and comfortable seats to assist students and researchers in their studies and scientific research in a suitable learning environment. The pavilion was opened at a ceremony sponsored by the President of the University, Prof. Azmi Mohafaza, and attended by Mr. Musa Shihadeh, General Manager of JIB, and Dr. Abdulrahman Ibrahim Zeid Al Kilani, Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and the presence of members of the teaching and administrative bodies on Sunday 27/5/2018. On this occasion, Mr. Musa Shihadeh said: "The Bank's support and donation for the rehabilitation of classrooms in the Faculty of Shari'a within the integrated education project is out of the bank's assuming its social responsibility in the field of education and research and to support the sustainable educational development in Jordanian universities and continue to strengthen the participatory relationship between the Bank and the University of Jordan. The series of donations and support provided annually by the Bank to support conferences and seminars or sponsor prizes for Quran memorizers, honor students and modernize the halls and provide training opportunities for university students to contribute to a healthy educational environment that elevates the academic level of university students and provides them with the opportunity for excellence and creativity”. For his part, Professor Abdul Rahman Al-Kilani said during the ceremony “Jordan Islamic Bank is a pioneer in supporting the aspirations and visions of the Faculty of Sharia in implementing the integrated education program which opens the horizons for students and researchers to develop their scientific, cultural and intellectual awareness." Stressing the pride of the faculty in partnership with JIB in the implementation of projects aimed at advancing the educational process and serve the student community, and expressed appreciation of the Faculty of Sharia and its gratitude for the continued support provided by the Bank for the efforts of the faculty to develop plans and programs of education and research”.
