Jordan Islamic Bank participated in sponsoring the forum "The Role of Artificial Intelligence Technologies in Cyber Security", which was held under the auspices of the Head of the National Center for Cyber Security, Eng. Bassam Al-Maharmeh, with the participation of experts, specialists and decision-makers from various economic sectors, and the organization of Jordan Today Center for Development at the Mövenpick Hotel- Amman for the period 23-24/5/ 2023.
Dr. Hussein Said, Chief Executive Officer / General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank, said, "Our bank's participation in this forum is an affirmation of our bank's commitment to shouldering its social and economic responsibilities through its sponsorship, support, and participation in various meetings that support the economic and scientific process and keep abreast of the most important modern developments that serve the national economy." Pointing to the great importance that artificial intelligence technologies and its various tools have gained global and local attention to keep pace with its successive developments and its role in cybersecurity.
Mr. Muhammad Al-Faqeer, General Manager of Jordan Today Center for Development, praised the pioneering role of Jordan Islamic Bank in supporting scientific and knowledge activities. He extended his thanks and appreciation to the Bank for its sponsorship of the forum, and presented an honorary shield to the Bank’s representative.
Participants in the forum discussed the latest successive developments in the field of artificial intelligence and its role in cybersecurity, and how to enhance the protection of electronic and digital systems and operations through the ability to detect various attacks and threats, rapid response and immediate response to any potential risks.
