Jordan Islamic Bank announced the opening of its new branch in Dahiyat Al Ameer Hassan / Capital Governorate, located on Sultan Qalawun Street, as of Monday 18/10/2021.
Dr. Hussein Said, CEO/General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank, expressed his pride in the continued strengthening of the bank’s presence through geographical expansion, as this branch is the eighty-fourth, so that the bank has 109 branches and offices spread throughout the Kingdom, and the capital governorate’s share in Amman, including 48 branches and offices, to expanding the provision of digital self-services (Islami Digital) in parallel with the various digital electronic channels provided by the Bank " Islami Mobile, Islami Internet...etc".
Dr. Hussein Said added that we seek, through geographical expansion, to increase our market share and meet the needs of citizens by providing Islamic banking services to various segments of society, individuals and companies, in implementation of the policy of financial inclusion. Where Dahiyat Al Ameer Hassan is one of the vital and commercially active areas and it's characterized by a dense population, in addition to the presence of many shops, medical centers, commercial complexes and large malls.
Dr. Hussein Said indicated the commitment of Jordan Islamic Bank to the instructions of the Central Bank of Jordan regarding dealing with persons with disabilities and protecting the financial consumer for customers with disabilities through the designs of the new bank branches, in addition to modernizing the existing branches and offices to take into account and meet the needs of persons with disabilities of all categories (hearing, visual, and motor disability) , and providing all the means that facilitate them to obtain banking services with ease through the allocation of an interpreter, specialized ATMs and designated places within the branch .. etc., where work is underway to provide these services in the Dahiyat Al Ameer Hassan branch, in addition to providing more than 10% of the bank’s branches to serve this category of society through 18 branches and offices of the bank in various governorates of the Kingdom.
