Jordan Islamic Bank celebrated in a national occasion with the students of the Academy for the Blind, Abdullah Ibn Umm Maktoum Secondary School for the Blind, in a ceremony held under the auspices of His Excellency the Minister of Education and Higher Education, Prof. Dr. Azmy Mohafaza to honor the academy’s graduates from the second secondary grade (Tawjihi) and celebrate the anniversary of independence, coronation day, Army Day and the Great Arab Revolt, in the Hijaz Schools building on Saturday, 10/6/ 2023.
Dr. Hussein Said, CEO / General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank, said, "The participation of our bank with the students of the Academy in celebrating the national occasions dear to all the Jordanian people, enhances loyalty and belonging to its Hashemite leadership and its national achievements, and spreads determination and love among the students, especially the graduates of the Academy for the Blind, whom our bank celebrates annually In conjunction with the national celebrations, to be one of the first to support the graduates of the Academy of the Blind, and to provide them with in-kind and cash gifts since 1995, as an affirmation of our bank’s fulfillment of its social responsibilities by supporting the less fortunate groups in society and achieving one of its most important goals in sustainable social development to support them, challenge their disability, and become active members of society, emphasizing the importance of supporting blind students by all”.
Dr. Najah Falah Al-Khalayleh, manager of the Academy for the Blind, expressed her gratitude for the keenness of Jordan Islamic Bank to provide exclusive support to the cohorts of graduates of the Academy annually, praising all the efforts made to support this less fortunate group of members of society.
The ceremony included a variety of paragraphs presented by the academy students in celebration of these happy occasions. At the end of the ceremony, His Excellency Dr. Azmy Muhafza, with the participation of the Bank’s representative, handed certificates and gifts to the graduate students.
