JIB Honors Relatives of Cornea Donors

                  Under the patronage of HRH Prince Raad Bin Zaid, Jordan Islamic Bank (JIB) continued to support the honoring luncheon of relatives of cornea donors and distribute appreciation certificates to them , supporting bodies and volunteers for the 8th consecutive year respectively in cooperation with Jordan Eye Bank Friends society and Prevention of Blindness and Jordan Eye Bank on Saturday 11/11/2017. HRH Prince Raad commended JIB’s role in supporting this annual meeting in an assertion of its constant interest in supporting activities of Eye Bank Friends Society and Jordan Eye Bank and its contribution to the efforts exerted to support cornea donation culture and honoring relatives of cornea donors and he handed Mr. Musa Shihadeh, GM of JIB a souvenir in appreciation of his support of this meeting. Mr. Shihadeh expressed his pleasure of the bank’s continuation to support this ceremony annually which is out of HRH Prince Raad’s interest to sustain the communication with Jordanian community members including relatives of cornea donors and supporting bodies to enhance the relation between different layers of the community ; individuals, institutions , civil community , official and voluntary bodies and it is a practical  application of JIB’s role in assuming its social responsibilities and reinforce social takaful in sustaining the awareness of cornea donation and supporting its efforts. However, Mr. Shihadeh presented a souvenir to HRH in this honoring ceremony.    Dr Muawiah Bdour, General Director of Jordan Eye Bank extended his thanks to JIB for its annual sponsorship of the ceremony and for the efforts of Jordan Eye Bank in the awareness of Cornea donation. Relatives of cornea donors extended their thanks and gratitude to HRH Prince Raad Bin Zaid, Jordan Islamic Bank and Jordan Eye Bank and its Friends Society for holding this honoring celebration, exposing their experience in cornea donation.
