At the opening of the Fourth of Jordan Scholars Association Conference "Future Studies in Sharia Sciences" CEO/General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank, Dr. Hussein Said: Future studies help Islamic banks To continue to grow CEO/General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank, Dr. Hussein Said, said that conducting future studies at the level of Islamic banks helps them to advance and continue growth, and they are necessary to explain the issues of Islamic banking and to explain its truth and its foundations to the world, whether specialists or intellectuals, the successive global financial crises in light of the steadfastness of Islamic banks and the collapse of some traditional institutions have made the world look seriously at Islamic finance. Therefore, it is necessary to strive to present Islamic finance in a contemporary, clear and convincing language to the world, in addition to the need of the Islamic banking industry in light of technology and globalization for products that keep pace with changes and renewable financial needs, because clients are always looking for new or advanced products. This came in a speech delivered by Dr. Hussein at the opening ceremony of the International Scientific Conference of the Jordan Scholars Association entitled "Future Studies in Sharia Sciences" and under the golden sponsorship of Jordan Islamic Bank and held remotely via the Zoom application and with the participation of a group of Jordanian scholars and from Arab and Islamic countries and in various legal disciplines. During the period 6-7/7/2021. Dr. Hussein stressed that future studies should be scientifically coherent and useful in practice and keep pace with developments at the same time, and need to study the dilemmas and obstacles that hinder the march of Islamic banking, and the challenges that await them with the rapid and successive global transformations, and the problems that the future holds, which must be present in the work and papers of all seminars and conferences, new ideas must be crystallized, and jurisprudence needs to keep pace with developments and meet human needs. He explained that extrapolating the future, predicting its aspirations and problems, analyzing and evaluating them is a necessary and inevitable introduction to a better life, and if preparing and planning for the future is a duty at all times, then it is the most imperative in our era, Which is witnessing great, deep and rapid developments and changes, the urgent need today for a forward-looking vision and serious strategic studies based on monitoring, calculation, prediction and anticipation of the next, and this is not like fortune-telling, astrology and divination, most of the inventions, industries and the tremendous results of the electronic revolution and the information revolution that the world enjoys today with its achievements In the past, they were future expectations and ambitions, then they became facts and discovered facts, and the future challenges and obstacles that the studies predict must be addressed, taken into account, and made a top priority, in order to advance the wheel of life. He added that al-Islam does not reject scientific foresight, but rather rejects fortune telling, divination, and arbitrary and improvised speech that is not based on scientific foundations, nor is it based on evidence and proof. As for the foresights that are based on correct information, accurate data, past experiences, and confirmed statistics, they are preparation and planning either to achieve desired goals or to avoid expected problems, and Islam is a realistic religion that requires us to count the risks, changes, circumstances and crises that may arise, measure their effects, and prepare the money and resources to help contain it and absorb it shocks. Also, many countries and major institutions are concerned with future studies at all levels and in all political, economic and social fields, and it is rare today to find a company or institution whose organizational structure does not include a department for studies, research and strategic planning, because the decisions taken today determine the shape and face of the future. Dr. Hussein invited academic institutions to pay attention to interest in this type of studies, and to devote a large part of their activities, efforts and expenditures to research and studies that take serious care of the future and its prospects to know the dangers and challenges before they collide with them, emphasizing that the subject of future studies is a basic subject in each specialization. To graduate analysts and minds capable of thinking and innovation so that they present logical perceptions and solutions that can convince decision makers. Dr. Hussein said that Jordan Islamic Bank, the pioneer of Islamic banking in the Kingdom, welcomes constructive scientific initiatives and future and strategic ideas in various banking fields, and is keen to ensure that its present and future activities support national economic and social development in accordance with the system of values and rules that controls its applications and controls its march.
